Wow, it has been an incredibly busy week! Not to mention, also one of THE hottest weeks we’ve had. Despite the heat, it was nice to switch gears a bit by starting off with Cameron’s senior portraits at Carroll Creek Park. A few years ago, I captured newborn photos for Cameron’s niece. Cameron’s mom, Sandy, was sweet enough to call me all those years later to see about capturing Cameron’s senior photos. I was so excited when she contacted me!
First, we had to pin down a location. We knew that we wanted a location that was downtown, as it fit more of Cameron’s style. The question became, where? Sandy brought up the idea of Carroll Creek Park in downtown Frederick, & as soon as I looked it up I fell in love. Besides, I always love shooting in new locations! Now Carroll Creek Park is definitely ranked at the top of my list as one of my favorite downtown locations. Downtown Frederick had so much variety to offer. From the water fountains on the walking mall, to the bridges, & the quaint downtown feel which displayed some amazing architecture. Not only was the location beautiful, but just how handsome was this young man? I think it’s safe to say that he was a complete natural in front of the camera. Cameron will be graduating this year from Washington High School out of Charlestown, WV. Congratulations, Cameron & to the Class of 2017! You have officially made me feel old 😉
If you would like to view more of my portrait work, you can find that here. If you are an upcoming senior, I would love to work with you! Feel free to send me a note 🙂 Until then, enjoy viewing some of my favorites from Cameron’s senior session, below!
