It was a busy Easter weekend which consisted of capturing a wedding that Saturday, then spending Easter with family on Sunday. Then Monday came where I had the chance to meet Alexis in downtown Fredericksburg for her senior portraits. I think it’s safe to say that those three days were a blur, lol, but it was nice to switch gears a bit by capturing senior portraits. However it was quite the chilly day for Lexi’s senior portrait session. We were hoping for warmer weather & cherry blossoms, but Spring had still decided to take it’s sweet time.
I absolutely love the quaint little downtown feel of Fredericksburg. I captured a handful of portrait sessions in this area in the past, & actually had my own headshots taken here a few years ago. When Lexi’s mom reached out to me regarding senior portraits for her daughter, I was so excited to pay a visit back to one of my favorite downtown locations. I just wish I would of had time to pick up a little ice cream from Karl’s on the way back 😉
Lexi was so much fun to work with, and she was also such a trooper when it came to the cold! It turns out that Lexi loves theater, playing her teal Ukulele, & she plans to attend JMU in the Fall. Go Dukes! I had such a wonderful time getting to know this bright and beautiful young lady. Here are just some of my favorites from our session together. I think the Ukulele ones are some of my favorite 😉
Lexi, I wish you the best as you graduate & continue your journey at JMU!
