This past weekend was indeed a busy one. It was one that involved capturing an engagement session in downtown Alexandria, & some family photos for these dear friends of mine. This past Saturday I made the trip out to Blandy Farm to capture this adorable little family. I had not seen baby William since December, so I was so excited to see this cute little chub monster again π I could not believe how much he had grown!
Daniel contacted me because he wanted to surprise Trish with family pictures for Mother’s Day. How sweet is that? Of course he had to tell her before Mother’s Day so that we could plan a date, but Trish was so excited. After having to reschedule due to the weather, we finally got their session in just one week later. Only thing we did not realize was that Blandy was having their huge garden sale that day, but luckily all of the crowds were on the opposite end of the farm. Parking? Not so fun, lol.
As I’ve said before, family photo sessions can be a bit unpredictable π I informed Daniel and Trish ahead of time that when babies and kids are involved, that sometimes you just have to go with the flow. Needless to say, baby William did great! We may of had to play some music on my iphone from “Moana” & place multiple hats on my head to get his attention, but it worked like a charm just to get him to look my direction. William also seemed to love the clicking sound on my camera, so that was an added bonus lol. This little guy may have been stone faced most of the time, but my camera still loved his sweet little face. When Trish & Daniel put his little hat on his head, I melted. This kid was just so stinking cute!
Daniel & Trish, I love you guys…. but baby William seemed to steal the show π It was so much fun getting to spend some time together again, & hopefully it won’t be so long the next time we meet again π
Thank you for trusting me to capture your family photos. Here are some of my favorites from the session. Enjoy!
