Hello, 2019! Laura & Nick’s Maternity session was my first session back since the birth of my own baby girl. It felt so good to pick up my Nikon again & put my creativity back to work. I only wish the snow on the ground would have stuck around to add to their beautiful images. However, I was just happy that it wasn’t the coldest of temperatures for our time together. By the way Spring, you’re welcome to make an appearance anytime now.

One thing that I love about being a wedding photographer are the relationships I get to form with my clients. It was just a year and a half ago that I was capturing Laura & Nick’s fall wedding in the Shenandoah Valley. Now here I was capturing their maternity photos. I always get so excited when my couples contact me months or even years down the road with the exciting news that they are growing their little family. It is one of the reasons why I love what I do, & it is such an honor to be able to continue to capture my couple’s story.
