It was a beautiful day for a wedding at the Ospreys at Belmont Bay. Chrissy & Sky are the kind of couple whom I feel like I’ve known forever. From the moment I met them for their engagement session at the Airlie House, I knew we were going to have so much fun working together. Luckily for me, I had the pleasure of working with them twice before their wedding day. Chrissy & Sky always kept me smiling with their sense of humor, & you never knew what kind of pose Sky was going to strike next lol.

A lot of people ask me if I ever get burnt out with wedding photography. The thing is, every wedding is unique & every wedding couple has their own story. Every wedding has a surprise element which makes it to where I never get bored with capturing weddings. As for Chrissy & Sky’s wedding, here are just some of my favorites from their special day.

The Venue. For those who know me well know that I am obsessed with small little towns nestled on the water. The Ospreys at Belmont Bay was speaking my love language. Chrissy & Sky’s outdoor wedding ceremony faced the bay with the beautiful fall leaves encompassing them. Behind the venue there was a large willow tree which made the perfect location for their first look. It was the most romantic setting.

Can we say sparkly Kate Spades?! I could have photographed Chrissy’s dancing shoes for hours.

I loved how I managed to find the perfect little spot for Chrissy’s getting ready & bridal portraits, & it wasn’t even in the bridal suite. It was actually in the foyer of the venue, but with that natural window light it made the most AMAZING spot. I’m embarrassed to say that I may have gotten choked up a little bit taking Chrissy’s bridal portraits, because she was just stunning in front of that camera. Again, I could have taken bridal portraits of her all day.

Sky’s dance with his mom. I’ve never seen a more sweet, yet adorable mother son dance. I loved watching Sky’s mom light up on the dance floor as he whipped out some surprise charismatic dance moves.

Sky’s “performance” during the garter removal. I have to say Sky stole the show again. I need more of my groomsmen to be Sky’s, lol.

These were just some of the highlights from Chrissy & Sky’s wedding at the Ospreys at Belmont Bay. There were so many other moments that were such a joy to capture, & it was such a pleasure just being able to witness their special day. Not to mention, the company was pretty amazing too.
