As a Virginia wedding photographer, I can’t complain when we end up having a 50 degree day in February for Ashley & Ryan’s Leesburg engagement session! I had such a wonderful time meeting up with these two, as I will be capturing their special day come May. It’s crazy to think that it’s just a few months away, but this girl is more than ready for Spring to make it’s arrival. Hello warm weather, & HELLO wedding season!

It was so nice finally meeting up with Ashley & Ryan in person for their engagement session in downtown Leesburg. We had their engagement session scheduled a couple months back, but due to the craziness of our schedules & the holidays we ended up having to reschedule. Luckily for us, we rescheduled on a day where it wasn’t completely freezing! We decided to walk around the quaint little downtown area of Leesburg. We may not of had the most color or greenery to work with since this took place in the dead of winter, but we did manage to find just the right amount towards the end of our session at the Birkby House. Ashley’s pink sweater definitely helped bring some “pop” into their images, & the sun even decided to come out to give us some of that warmth us photographers are always looking for 🙂

Needless to say, Ashley & Ryan were so much fun to work with. I’m so glad they braved the chilly weather with me in order to capture their Leesburg engagement session. I couldn’t have thought of a better way to kick off my 2020 season than with these two! Now c’mon, May! Let’s get these two married <3
