It has been a whirlwind of a week, but I am so excited to finally share Jocelyne & Jackson’s Bristow Manor wedding with you on the blog. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to celebrate this joyous union. It had been almost 2 years since I visited this beautiful venue, & I was amazed at the recent renovations they made to the venue. The lawn was adorned with flowers, new stone, lanterns, & a cozy sitting area for cocktail hour. Bristow Manor was the perfect setting for Jocelyne & Jackson’s intimate Spring wedding.
I have to say that Jocelyne looked like a princess. Wearing a ballroom style gown, a cathedral veil, & a sheer cape that her mother had custom made for her- it was bridal perfection. Then surrounded by family & friends, Jocelyne & Jackson said their vows under a beautifully decorated arbor on the front lawn. It was a beautiful ceremony where personal vows were shared, while the bride wiped tears from her face. During these sentimental moments it was tough capturing as I got teary eyed myself. Weddings seem to turn me into a complete sap! 😉
My favorite part of this wedding was when we decided to take Jocelyne & Jackson back outside for sunset portraits. Brides, if you are getting married soon I highly recommend doing this! Not only will you get more portraits, but you will receive portraits that are something out of a fairytale due to the golden light. Just after dinner we jumped on a couple of golf carts & drove out on the course. The light was AMAZING. I could have kept them there until the sun went down, but I knew they had a party to get back to. I will never stop obsessing over sunset portraits-truly worth making time for!
Congratulations, Jocelyne & Jackson! I hope you enjoy reliving your day through your images. It was such a beautiful wedding that I had the privilege of being a part of- thank you!
