I had such a wonderful time during Kali’s senior portrait session! I have known this sweet girl and her family for the past 6 years where my husband & I met them at church one Sunday. When Kali’s mom, Susie, contacted me regarding Kali’s senior portraits my first thought was, how in the world is Kali a senior already? I can’t get over how fast the time passes by, but I was so excited to capture Kali’s senior portraits for her.
It was just a year ago that I captured family photos for this sweet family at this beautiful location. Blandy Farm is always one of my favorite locations for portrait sessions. Needless to say it was a little chilly during Kali’s senior portraits and the trees & flowers still hadn’t bloomed, but it still provided enough greenery to provide a perfect back drop.
Just before our session started, Kali joked with me about how she hated having her picture taken. Therefore, I made it my goal to make her laugh in front of the camera to help make it fun while also bringing out genuine emotion for her images. Needless to say, we had so much fun! Since it was a bit windy & chilly, we decided to start with her least warm outfit to get it out of the way, then wrapped up her session with much warmer attire. Kali was such a good sport the entire time, & you would never guess that she didn’t like having her picture taken 😉 Kali was a natural!
Kali, I wish you the best as you graduate this year & start your next chapter in the field of dental hygiene. I know you will do great things!
Here are some of my favorite images from Kali’s senior portrait session.
