I had the best time capturing Chloe & Caleb’s special day at The Purple Iris at Hartwood Mansion this past weekend! This was my first time visiting this gorgeous venue, & it’s just 10 minutes from my house! The Purple Iris also held special meaning to Chloe, as she worked here for nearly 7 years. It’s safe to say she knew every inch of this beautiful venue & it was decorated just so! Chloe & Caleb’s reception space was held under a romantically adorned tent on the back patio with greenery & blush florals. It was certainly speaking my love language! Chloe & Caleb’s wedding celebration at the Purple Iris was a dream, not only because of it’s decor but because of the love that surrounded them.

It always amazes me how fast the time passes from the time I work with my couples at their engagement session, until I work with them again on their wedding day. I initially met Chloe & Caleb for their engagement session in downtown Harpers Ferry inside the same church where they were married. Although it was just 5 months ago, it felt like 5 weeks. From the moment I first chatted with Chloe & Caleb I knew we were going to be a perfect fit. Not only were they the sweetest couple, but I fell in love with their love story. Chloe & Caleb were also engaged in the same church where they were wed, & that is where we started their engagement session (to see Chloe & Caleb’s engagement session, click here!). It was the perfect way to start their engagement photos, & the rest of our time together was magical.

Chloe & Caleb’s wedding day at The Purple Iris at Hartwood Mansion was no different. As much as I love the classic wedding decor, the beautiful color palettes, & the details that photograph so beautifully it was so much more than that. Chloe & Caleb were such a beautiful couple, & their relationship was the perfect testimony of God’s love. I learned very quickly that day how much of a servant’s heart Chloe had for other people, & how much her peers admired her for this amazing quality. After listening to the Best Man’s speech I also learned how much of a prankster Caleb is, lol, but also learned how amazing of a man & friend he was. It’s safe to say that Chloe & Caleb are going to make such an amazing team together. With Christ at the center of their relationship I believe their marriage will continue to thrive & grow. It was truly an honor to be a part of this wedding celebration.
