It was just a couple short weeks ago that Jackie reached out in regards to booking me for her wedding! Jackie & Zac will be getting married at The Inn at Willow Grove next Spring, which is one of my favorite Virginia wedding venues! Jackie & Zac will both be moving overseas in a matter of weeks, so originally Jackie did not think an engagement session would be possible to fit in. Luckily since it’s still slow season for me, we were able to get Jackie & Zac on the calendar immediately for their romantic engagement session in downtown Alexandria.

Downtown Alexandria will always remain one of my favorite downtown locations for engagement sessions. There are so many great spots & hidden gems in this quaint little waterfront town. Jackie & Zac came dressed to kill, & Jackie’s style was speaking my love language! I just loved how Jackie’s dress blew in the wind, & can I just say her hair and makeup were AHmazing!

It was certainly cold for Jackie & Zac’s downtown Alexandria engagement session, & the gusty winds certainly did not help. By the time we switched gears with implementing their outfit change, it seemed like the temperature dropped 10 degrees. What really warmed my heart was their sweet pup, Bella, who was certainly confused why her humans were walking her all around town in the cold just to be snuggled for photos. Bella certainly stole the show, & I couldn’t get over how cute & photogenic this sweet pup was! It’s no wonder why Jackie & Zac wanted to include her for a portion of their engagement session.
