Dover Hall Wedding | Jaanay & Asiko

Earlier this spring, I had the pleasure of capturing Jaanay and Asiko’s connection during their engagement shoot amidst the serene gardens of Historic Oatlands. Now, here we are celebrating their stunning Dover Hall wedding! Everything about their day was an absolute dream. Celebrated at the English Tudor-inspired estate, Dover Hall in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, their special day was filled with so many unforgettable moments.

A Romance Rekindled

Jaanay and Asiko started developing a close relationship during the pandemic but kept it low-key due to their impending separation. Asiko was heading to university in China, and before he left, Jaanay gave him a heartfelt love letter. Fast forward two years, Asiko returned to Texas and found that long-forgotten letter in his suitcase, sparking their romance. This time, fate was on their side, bringing both their families to the East Coast. Asiko completed his degree in New York while Jaanay pursued her modeling and academic career there. They moved in together and got engaged on October 30th, sealing their commitment to one another.

A Touching First Look

One of the most memorable moments of their Dover Hall wedding was Jaanay’s first look with her father. It was such a sweet and tender moment, capturing the deep bond they share. The emotion on her father’s face as he saw his daughter in her wedding dress was truly heartwarming.

A Romantic Poolside Ceremony

Despite record-breaking temperatures, Jaanay and Asiko’s poolside ceremony was nothing short of romantic. Surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged vows in a setting that was both intimate and elegant. The heat didn’t deter their spirits, and the love between them was evident as they promised forever to each other. Adding to the excitement, both sets of parents surprised the couple with a Mariachi Band that played during their wedding recessional. The looks on Jaanay and Asiko’s faces were priceless!

An Evening to Remember

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with a reception that was filled with dancing. Guests enjoyed an evening of festivities that perfectly reflected Jaanay and Asiko’s personalities. One of the highlights of the reception was a toast from Jaanay’s dad, who expressed how full his heart was in celebrating their union. His words brought tears to many eyes! To end their perfect day, Jaanay and Asiko had a magical sparkler exit in front of Dover Hall. Surrounded by their loved ones, they made their grand exit in a shower of sparks.
