Last weekend was filled with Fall goodness, & this session was a great way to wrap up the weekend! On Sunday I had the pleasure of finally getting to meet & capture Lorri & Brad’s Blandy Farm engagement session. They even included their two adorable & very hyper pups for a couple of the photos. You would never guess they were hyper as we actually got them to sit still for one of the photos, but I think that was partly due to Brad’s kung fu grip on the leash, LoL. These pups just wanted to run & play the entire time, but with that being said we got them to cooperate for at least ONE good shot 🙂
Besides having this beautiful couple to work with, once again Blandy never fails to disappoint. We had such amazing weather that day, & thanks to Fall wanting to stick around quite some time longer we still had plenty of “orange” to work with! We started Lorri & Brad’s session towards the front of the Farm, while finishing up with an outfit change & a further out location. I felt so bad, because little did I know that Lorri’s outfit change involved wearing a pair of dress boots which had high heels on them! I’ll admit that was poor planning on my part, as I had planned on finishing their session with a country/field type setting-lol. With that being said, Lorri was so laid back & she went with it. I told Brad he may have to pick her up & set her in the field, lol, but it all worked out beautifully as those ended up being some of my favorite images from their session! Just as we thought we were finished, we started making our way back until we noticed a wooded trail that was FULL of ORANGE! Yes, big, beautiful, orange trees! No, not fruit trees 😉 More of those “fall goodness” type of trees, lol. I joked with them that I tend to go where the orange is, lol. The setting was so beautiful, & we managed to squeeze out a few more STUNNING images! Not to mention, Lorri’s black outfit complemented it so well! Lorri & Brad were so much fun to work with, & I think my camera really liked them too 🙂
Lorri & Brad, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your engagement photos. Also special thanks to your Mom for hanging out to watch the pups while we were out! I am so excited to capture your special day on March 25th at the beautiful Historic Jordan Springs!
Here are just some of my favorites from your session. Enjoy!
