We had an interesting, yet amazing time together for Tiffany & Joe’s Great Falls engagement session! Meet my hairstylist, Tiffany, & her fiancé Joe. Tiffany & I were connected a few years back through a mutual friend while I was looking for someone amazing to deal with my thick head of hair, lol. Since we met, we have worked together a handful of times as I did family portraits & head shots for Tiffany in the past- so needless to say, I was SO excited when she contacted me with the awesome news of wanting to do engagement photos! I am so incredibly happy for these two, & I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
Tiffany & Joe were set on having their engagement session at Great Falls Park. This location has become special to them, as they had their first date here & continue to visit many times to this day. Little did we know just how crowded the park would be the day of their session. I believe we waited 45 minutes in a long line of cars just to get into the park! It was a good thing we decided to start a tad earlier, or else we may have run out of good light. Luckily we still had some beautiful orange leaves on the trees, and the small hike that we took to get to certain destinations was absolutely beautiful. Tiffany & Joe even brought their adorable maltese pup, Lilly, along to photobomb some pictures. Lilly had the most adorable red & black checkered bow in her hair to match Joe’s shirt, & I was surprised at how still she sat for pictures without even having to bribe her with dog treats 🙂 Towards the end of Tiffany & Joe’s engagement session we found the most breath taking backdrop near the water, & it certainly felt like the “grand finale” for their session. As we stood near the water’s edge, we noticed some very dark and “eery” looking clouds start to roll in. Therefore, we decided it was best to book it back to the car. Luck would have it, we got caught in the worst torrential rain storm! Poor little Lilly was not having any of it, lol. We were still about half a mile from our vehicles, & we were soaking wet. Luckily we were able to laugh it off, but boy did that make for an uncomfortable drive home (wet jeans, yuck!). Between the 45 minute wait to get into the park, and the shower we received on the way home, it was still very much worth it 🙂
Tiffany & Joe, thank you for being such great sports & for allowing me to take your engagement photos! I wish you guys the best as you start this exciting & new chapter!
ENJOY!
