It’s been a month full of family sessions, & I am loving it! On Sunday I had the pleasure of capturing the Dasch family at their home in Leesburg, VA. Can you believe these were taken in their back yard? Seeing that we had our own go cart to chauffeur use around the property, I kind of wanted to just stay & play!

Stephanie is actually in the wedding industry herself, which is how we linked up. Stephanie is the owner of Diamond Events Co, where she is a wedding planner & designer for weddings & events across Virginia & Washington DC. I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie for a wedding of a mutual client back in October, so when she contacted me to take her family portraits I was so excited! This is just another reason why I love working in this industry. As a wedding photographer you get the pleasure of meeting & working with so many wonderful people.

First and foremost I just have to say how adorable Stephanie & Hunter’s little girls are! We may of had to bribe little Lillian with Starbursts in order to get her to smile for a picture, lol, but my camera just loved her sweet little face. Madelyn on the other hand was a ham in front of the camera, & practically knew exactly what to do when it came to posing. With a combination of very necessary bribes, Lillian’s stuffed animal snoopy, silly faces, & the baby shark song, we managed to get some adorable pictures of the Dasch family. Whatever it takes to get the shot 😉 Needless to say, I had a wonderful time hanging out with this bunch for their portrait time!
