Let's connect!

It was a weekend full of family sessions, & I have enjoyed changing gears a bit compared to my usual capturing of weddings & engagements. Recently I have had the pleasure of working with the sweetest families, & the Miller’s were no different. It was a large group to work with, but you can bet there wasn’t a dull moment with this family. Despite the cold, this family had jokes & I enjoyed laughing with them even though my fingers were numb, lol. I loved watching this family laugh & interact with each other, but most of all I was so happy to see that they were comfortable being themselves in front of the camera.

It was definitely a cold fall day for the Miller’s portrait session, & mother nature was not so kind to us with the added windy conditions. Luckily we had some sunshine to work with, but I think we all may have froze a little bit. I was amazed at how awesome the kids handled the weather conditions, & I even got an unexpected hug at the end from Cadence- so sweet! The Millers were so much fun to work with, & I was so happy to be able to capture these memories for them.

My wedding season launched in February, but little did I know that would be my last wedding that I would capture until August. Ashley & Ryan found […]

It’s been a busy week of sessions, & I have been loving every single minute of it. Not to mention, I had the opportunity to photograph in one of my favorite charming locations- downtown Alexandria. Except this time I had the leisure of switching things up a bit by capturing a maternity session for a […]

I had such a wonderful time meeting up with Kelly & John for their engagement session at Oatlands Plantation this past weekend. It’s safe to say that the weather was much warmer than we would have liked, but Kelly & John made the absolute best of the situation. You would never guess that it was […]
