It certainly has been a very cold winter this year in 2022, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping my couples from embracing it for portraits! This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting with Sarah & Patrick at Fleetwood Farm Winery for their engagement session. With a high of 28 degrees, these two made the best of their engagement session with a glass (or two!) of wine. Luckily afterwards they were able to head inside & warm up by the fire. Needless to say, Fleetwood Farm Winery is such a charming venue to visit!
From the moment I met Sarah & Patrick, they were so easy going & fun to chat with! Before we started their engagement session we headed inside to discuss all of the details as to what they could expect. We certainly did not want to be outside longer than we needed to be, so I made sure to work efficiently while taking various “coat breaks!”. Although we did not have much for scenery in the sense of greenery or blooms, one reason why I love this session so much is that you can still get gorgeous images in the dead of winter! All you need is the right lighting, & we had the most beautiful golden light for Sarah & Patrick’s engagement session at Fleetwood Farm Winery. Lighting always makes your images! And my beautiful couples of course 😉 Sarah & Patrick’s attire fit the scenery & season while they complemented each other so perfectly. I think it’s safe to say that my camera absolutely loved these two!
Congratulations, Sarah & Patrick! I am so excited to work with you again for your JUNE wedding this year at Fairfax Country Club!Luckily we will have much warmer weather to work with for your special day 😉
