What an amazing day we had celebrating Amber & Aron which was hosted at Aron’s beautiful family farm in Bunker Hill, WV. So much love & hard work was poured into making this day unique & special. From the moment I arrived, the women were busy in the kitchen trying to make sure all the food was prepared & that everything was in it’s proper place. Later, even the bridesmaids were standing in the kitchen dressed in their long gowns to help with some last minute details, lol. Lucky for me, the Shiley’s living room made an excellent location for detail shots which included every photographer’s dream- a HUGE window with lots of natural light to hang the dress! In the meantime, the guys were in their bachelor pad getting the party started early. With that being said, I do recall that later in the day I was walking outside their bachelor pad when one of the groomsmen decided to moon me & the bridesmaids through the window…I won’t say who. Actually, I couldn’t even tell you who it was lol, but in all seriousness it was a beautiful day filled with laughter, emotion, tears, & some of the best company you could be around. There were so may beautiful moments that made me get teary eyed just watching them unfold in front of my very eyes. From the gifts that Amber gave to the Mom’s, to the emotional moment when Amber walked down the aisle, the moment that Amber’s little sister was so overjoyed that she broke down crying after the ceremony, & the unforgettable first dance that Amber had with her Mom where her Mom, Shelly, broke out the tissues before the dance even started. It was a fun filled, energetic reception filled with dancing, toasts, laughter, & even more emotion as the best man, maid/matron of honors gave their speeches. I also wanted to add that the garter removal was probably one of the longest I’ve seen in the history of photographing weddings (what were you doing, Aron?! Just kidding, lol) All in all, I had a blast capturing Amber & Aron’s special day while also getting to meet some pretty incredible people.The “Shiley Shindig” definitely did not disappoint!

Amber & Aron, thank you so much for asking me to take part in your special day. I wish you two nothing but the best as you start your journey as Husband and Wife. I hope you have an awesome honeymoon in Punta Cana, DR!
