Laura & Nick met on a blind date, & from what I understood it escalated pretty quickly from there 😉  This past weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting Laura & Nick in downtown Winchester for their engagement session. Laura couldn’t have picked a better day, as it was 65 degrees and sunny in FEBRUARY! No coats or jackets needed, & I think we may have even broke a sweat while walking around downtown. Needless to say it was a perfect day for a shoot, & I had so much fun getting to know these two.
I always love starting my sessions off at the Handley Library in downtown Winchester. It’s classy, sophisticated, & it simply makes a great location for stunning photographs! Laura & Nick had such a natural chemistry, & I loved their ability to be silly with each other in front of the camera! Once we finished up at the library, we made our way to the walking mall. Everyone that was in hibernation for the winter decided to come out that day thanks to the gorgeous weather, so we definitely had to dodge some crowds. Once we got to a less congested area, I asked Laura & Nick if they wanted to try the “dip” pose. At first, Nick wasn’t sure what I meant. Then just a few seconds later it “clicked”, and Nick suddenly threw Laura back into the most perfect dip pose I had ever seen, lol. It was as if they practiced everyday since they got it perfect on the first try! I was so tickled by this, yet I was just staring at them in amazement. These two were so incredible together! I loved being able to capture the playful attitude that they had towards one another.  I am so excited to see what their day entails come October at the beautiful Shenandoah Valley Golf Club!
Laura & Nick, it was such a pleasure meeting the both of you, & I hope you enjoy just some of my favorites from our session together. Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your engagement photos, as well as your special day. I am so excited to celebrate with you on October 27th!
Enjoy!
