It was a gorgeous wedding celebrating Sarah & Patrick at the Country Club of Fairfax this past weekend. What initially looked like a rainy forecast turned out to be a beautiful day. Unfortunately we did not get to experience golden hour for their portraits, but we were so thankful for overcast skies without a drop of rain. As a result we were able to capture their first look & all of their portraits outdoors. I’d say that’s a huge victory despite not having any golden sun for their portraits!
Sarah & Patrick’s wedding at the Country Club of Fairfax was so classy & elegant. As most of you know I am a sap for classic weddings. Decorated in white & gold, Sarah & Patrick’s wedding was simply gorgeous. The bridesmaids wore champagne colored dresses with white bouquets provided by Burke Florist. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with champagne colored ties, while Patrick wore a classy black bow tie. This wedding party could not look more elegant & sophisticated.
Sarah & Patrick shared an intimate first look, followed with their Bride & Groom portraits before the ceremony. Thanks to the overcast skies, we had the most beautiful diffused light for portrait time. We were secretly hoping the sun would make an appearance later for golden hour, but the clouds decided to linger the remaining part of the day. We were just so thankful to not have any rain, & we ended up capturing the most gorgeous portraits of these two! It really is hard to pick out my favorites. Sarah & Patrick were such a beautiful, & fun couple to capture. Everytime I would go to capture a candid photo of Patrick throughout the day, he always looked right at me with the biggest grin lol. It had me tickled. Needless to say these two were so adorable & it was such a pleasure being a part of their special day at the Country Club of Fairfax.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Choate!
