It’s safe to say that Fall has certainly arrived in Northern Virginia, which provided the most gorgeous day for Rachael & Christian’s wedding at Great Marsh Estate. This luxurious Virginia wedding venue is an absolute dream as it gives off a European countryside kind of vibe. Is this gorgeous venue really nestled in little old Virginia? I can clearly see why Rachael & Christian chose this Georgian Estate to host their wedding celebration amongst family & friends, and it is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the out.

For those who have been following my work, they know I start every wedding day by capturing bridal details. Great Marsh has the most incredible bridal suite which provides plenty of space and natural light. I was in photographer’s heaven as I captured all of Rachael’s elegant details. The color palette of this wedding with the absolute gorgeous florals (provided by Nova Floral Company) really added a luxurious & sophisticated touch. Rachael wore a beautiful wedding gown by Stella York, with baby blue wedding shoes by Loeffler Randall to complete her bridal attire. Everything about this wedding was simply stunning!

Rachael & Christian shared an intimate first look located on the back portico. Following the first look we started their bride & groom portraits where everywhere you turned there was a picturesque location. I was so thankful that we allowed for plenty of portrait time in their timeline, as we were able to capture so much variety. This also included being able to go back out during golden hour! The light was simply perfect & I could not get enough of their “glowy” portraits to wrap up the evening. Rachael & Christian were an absolute joy to work with, & it was clear how much these two really loved one another. I was so honored that they invited me to be a part of their special day. It was such a joy being a part of this joyous occasion.
