After Emily & Noah’s engagement session at Oatlands Historic House & Gardens, it is no wonder that everyone wants to have their portraits taken in the fall here in beautiful Virginia! This is one of those blog posts where it keeps getting prettier the further you scroll. If you want to see some beautiful fall color or are looking for inspiration for your own fall engagement shoot, this blog post is certainly for you. Despite the rain we just experienced recently, October has been so good to us thus far. Now if we can just find a way to make this beautiful fall color last through the entire month of November!
Emily & Noah were so patient as we had to reschedule their initial engagement session not once, but TWICE. Thanks to Hurricane Ian for bringing the never ending rain showers, this sweet couple’s engagement session kept getting delayed. I would say that nature made up for it this past Monday evening, because we had the most beautiful day accompanied with beautiful fall color and LIGHT! Oatlands Historic House & Gardens never fails to disappoint either, with their beautiful gardens nestled in the countryside of Loudoun County, Virginia.
Emily & Noah were such an adorable match! With Emily’s bubbly personality it made capturing these two so easy, plus they are just a gorgeous pair. I also had a great time getting to know this couple as we strolled through Historic Oatlands House & Gardens. I was excited to find that we shared common interests in the fact that we both had a love for Smith Mountain Lake, & that we both ran Cross Country in our younger years. It’s these little things that set the stage for forming relationships with my clients, & it makes me love what I do that much more. Emily & Noah were such a joy to work with, & I am so excited to capture their special day next June at Old House Vineyards!
Can you decide on a favorite image? Because I simply cannot…
