This entire year was a complete whirlwind. It’s so crazy to think that Natalie & Ryan’s wedding was this past weekend when it felt like I just did their engagement session yesterday! Natalie & Ryan exchanged their vows amongst family & friends on an unusual warm November day at Stoneyman Valley Ranch this past weekend. I am so thankful that the Lord cleared the skies for their special day as we had constant rain showers the day before. It turned out to be a beautiful November day!
This wedding holds a special place in my heart because we have been friends with this amazing family from when we met at church years ago. Photographing their wedding was more like a family reunion. Seeing familiar, happy faces while getting to capture the love between these two was just an added bonus. Like I said in their sneak peek post, there is never a dull moment with this crew. The entire day was filled with laughter, happy tears, & genuine moments that unfolded before my eyes.
Natalie & Ryan shared an intimate first look just outside the barn at Stoneyman Valley Ranch. Ryan’s face said it all as he turned around & saw his beautiful bride for the first time. It was certainly a tender moment to be shared. Fast forward to their wedding ceremony, & Ryan was just as emotional when he witnessed Natalie walking down the aisle. Like I’ve always said, first looks will never take away from seeing your bride walk down the aisle for the first time. There’s just nothing that can take away from that special moment.
After Natalie & Ryan’s intimate ceremony, the sun tried to peak out just a little bit for golden hour portraits. We drove to the top of the valley where we had the most beautiful view of Stoneyman Valley Ranch down below. It was the perfect location in order to capture that perfect backdrop. They were some of my favorite shots from the day where I just loved the image of Natalie’s train being tossed- it was so majestic!
Natalie & Ryan wrapped up their wedding celebration with amazing food, dancing, & of course amazing company. With a magical sparkler exit to send them off, the biggest surprise was the classic getaway car that Natalie’s parents surprised Ryan with. Talk about going out in style! These two had the most incredible day & I could not be more happy for them.
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Lapp
