Anne & Frank. Downtown Alexandria Engagement Session

The blooms have officially arrived here in the Washington DC area, resulting in everyone coming out of hibernation! As much as I don’t enjoy navigating through the mass crowd of people, I do enjoy the fact that it’s due to the Spring weather finally making it’s appearance. Spring engagement sessions are my absolute favorite season to capture my couples in, & this past weekend’s was simply dreamy! Anne & Frank’s downtown Alexandria engagement session had me swooning once again, & I am so excited to share their engagement session with you on the blog.

With just 4 weeks until their wedding, I had the pleasure of finally meeting Anne & Frank for their downtown Alexandria engagement session. This was actually the perfect setting for their engagement session since this is also where they will be exchanging vows come April! Downtown Alexandria will always be one of my favorite downtown locations for engagement sessions as it encompasses so much charm. You also happen to get the most glowy light in Founder’s Park if you visit during golden hour. Luckily we were able to end their engagement session there, & the lighting was pure magic. I could have kept photographing these two there for the remainder of the evening!

Let’s me also make mention just how adorable Anne & Frank are. These two came dressed to kill, & their chemistry was off the charts! Before I begin all of my engagement sessions with my couples, I always explain that my biggest encouragement is for them to be themselves & to interact with one another. This always brings out the authenticity in their images which is what I aim to capture. Needless to say Anne & Frank did just that, & it came so effortlessly for them. Anne had the most contagious smile, while Frank would gaze at her with adoration. My camera just wanted to soak these two up! I am so excited to continue capturing their love story come April 29th!
