After rescheduling our session together due to the weather, we managed to pull off a successful engagement session for Amber & Aron last tuesday evening! We decided to capture their session on Aron’s family farm, which is also where their wedding is taking place…SCORE! Not only was this a practice run for Amber & Aron, but it was also a great practice run for me so that I could scope out some great spots for their wedding portraits 😉
The day of their session was beautiful, with no rain in the forecast. When I arrived at the farm…it started raining. Luckily we were able to sit inside Aron’s parent’s house until the rain passed, but the weather just wanted to be stubborn! I believe the sun was shining the entire time that it rained, & we could see blue sky in the distance so we just knew it would end soon! Only thing it left us with was some nasty humidity which kept trying to frizz out Amber’s hair while also trying to fog up my lenses lol. My only regret? It did leave us with a beautiful rainbow that I wish we could have tried to capture in the background of at least one of their photos, but we were too late. Regardless, we had some amazing light & we even had an incredible sunset to work with towards the end of our session! Poor Aron had to walk around in long sleeves, but he was such a great sport through all of it. My camera absolutely loved these two, & I am so excited to capture their September wedding. Amber, you are going to make such a STUNNING bride!
Amber & Aron, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your engagement photos. It was such a pleasure working with you, & I can’t wait to have some more fun come September 17th! Enjoy!
